Vice President Leni Robredo echoed a London-based Somali poet in a tweet amid the live interview of President Rodrigo Duterte with ABS-CBN News.

"I’m sorry you were not truly loved and that it made you cruel," Robredo quoted Warsan Shire.

The tweet came in the middle of Duterte's exclusive interview with ABS-CBN News' Lynda Jumilla.

In the interview, Duterte said he is "happy" with his current Cabinet, saying "I assembled the best team so far. They are all honest."

Duterte earlier said in a separate interview that he was not considering giving Robredo a new Cabinet post following her resignation as housing secretary.

Since leaving the Cabinet, Robredo has been more vocal in her desire to be the "unifying" factor of the opposition to make Duterte listen.
