CEBU - Three Romanian nationals suspected to be involved in ATM skimming were arrested by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) in a condominium in Lahug Cebu City, Friday.

A Ford Mustang, microchips, card readers, a skimming device, ATM cards, a laptop, a cellphone, and passports were recovered from the condominium unit of suspects Razvan Stancu Aurelian, Cosel Ion, and Ionut Alesandrrou, officials said.

A blue and yellow plaid polo shirt that was recovered from the condominium matched the one worn by one of the LandBank ATM skimming suspects, but officials have yet to confirm if the 3 were responsible for fraudulent ATM transactions in the city.

The suspects may be involved in the operations of an international syndicate, officials said.

Police are on the hunt for 3 others who are also suspected to be behind ATM skimming in the city, authorities said.
