MANILA - Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, daughter of President Rodrigo Duterte, on Thursday said she will give away P121 million to the public if Senator Antonio Trillanes IV can prove his allegations of ill-gotten wealth.

"If Trillanes can show where my alleged P121 million is right now and how it became illegal, kunin natin at ibigay ko sana inyo lahat (let's get it and I'll distribute it to all of you)," Duterte-Carpio said in a statement.

The mayor also insisted that she has always been honest with the public, saying: "Wala akong postura labas sa kung ano ang nakikita ng lahat (I have no pretensions apart from what the public sees). I never pretended to be what I am not."

Trillanes alleged during the presidential campaign last year that Duterte had P2.407 billion in bank transactions until 2015.

In a press conference today, the senator released documents on Duterte's alleged bank transactions and supposed records of his 3 children's bank accounts.

He renewed his challenge for Duterte to prove him wrong by baring the history of his bank transactions.

Duterte-Carpio urged the public to let her father decide how to address the allegations.

Duterte's office has dismissed Trillanes' statement as a "rehash" of what the senator released during the 2016 election campaign.
