MANILA - Miss USA Universe Olivia Jordan is grateful to those who made her first trip to the Philippines special.

On Instagram, the Miss Universe 2015 second runner-up posted a photo of her applauding the winners of the recently concluded Binibining Pilipinas pageant. She served as one of the judges for the annual competition.

"So grateful for this experience. Thankful to everyone that made this trip so special. I'm such a proud roomie after seeing how much [Pia Wurtzbach] inspires millions of people everyday. Hope to come back again soon!" Jordan wrote as the caption.

Wurtzbach made a special appearance at the Binibining Pilipinas pageant last Sunday. She delivered an emotional farewell speech and passed on her Miss Universe-Philippines crown to Maria Mika Maxine Medina.

"That was so crazy, I've never seen so many fans," said Jordan in a video she uploaded after the memorable coronation night. "What an honor it was to judge one of the most esteemed pageants in the Universe."

Jordan, whose friendship with Wurtzbach has been well-documented on social media, earlier described the Philippines as a "tropical paradise."
