She's already more than 100 years old.

But Whang-ud isn't about to pass up a chance to showcase her art of traditional tattooing, making her appearance at the 2017 Manila Fame trade show held at World Trade Center in Pasay on Friday.

Whang-ud, the iconic mambabatok of Kalinga, was one of the main guests of the event, which aims to "show the world our culture and its impact for generations to come."

The living legend was accompanied by her successors, Grace Palicas and Ilyang Wigan.

Whang-ud is known as the last surviving original, hand-tap tattoo artist from Kalinga's Butbut tribe.

Her worldwide popularity began in 2009 when tattoo anthropologist Lars Krutak went to Buscalan and did a documentary on her.

She has since been featured in the New York Times and the BBC, with her work also being exhibited in museums in Paris and Toronto.

Earlier this week, she made headlines when she finally got a chance to meet one of her favorite actors, "Ang Probinsyano" star Coco Martin.
