MANILA – Vice Ganda on Saturday denied rumors that he is not in good terms with Coco Martin.

“Hindi po kami magkaaway. Matagal na namin ding sinagot. Paulit-ulit lang din talaga kayo ng tinatanong at gusto niyo yatang marinig sa amin na magkaaway po kami. Sinagot ko na iyan dati. Sinagot na din ni Coco. Hindi kami magkaaway,” he said.

Reports about a spat between the "Ang Probinsyano" actor and the "It's Showtime" host surfaced last October after they opted to star in different films for the Metro Manila Film Festival.

Vice Ganda is one of the lead stars of the movie “Gandarrapiddo: The Revenger Squad,” while Martin headlines “Ang Panday.”

When asked if their planned trilogy film will still push through, Vice Ganda said: “Hindi man nangyari pero hindi nangangahulugang hindi mangyayari. Mahaba pa ang tatakbuhin ng career ni Coco and hopefully ako din naman.”

“Mga bata pa kami ni Coco, wala pa kami parehong pera, gusto na naming mangyari ito. Ngayon na nangyayari sa aking dalawa, masayang masaya kami pareho,” he added.

In a previous interview, Martin said everything is okay between him and Vice Ganda and their hectic schedule is the only reason why they haven’t had time to catch up.

"Hindi po (kami nagko-compete sa MMFF). Magkaibigan kami nu'n. Busy lang kami kaya hindi pa kami nagkakausap ngayon," Martin said.

Vice Ganda and Martin have been good friends even before they entered show business.
