MANILA - Kapamilya actor Coco Martin on Saturday denied rumors that he is not in good terms with friend Vice Ganda.

"OK naman (kami). Wala naman (kaming tampuhan)," Martin told reporters on the sidelines of the "Ang Panday" mobile game launch.

When asked if they were not in speaking terms because of their competing entries in the Metro Manila Film Festival, Martin said: "Hindi po (kami nagko-compete). Magkaibigan kami nu'n."

"Busy lang kami kaya hindi pa kami nagkakausap ngayon," he added.

Reports about a spat between the "Ang Probinsyano" actor and the "It's Showtime" host surfaced earlier this month as they opted to star in different films in the December filmfest.

Vice Ganda will play the lead in the comedy flick "Gandarrapiddo: The Revengers" while Martin is starring in, as well as directing and producing, a remake of Carlo J. Caparas' action-adventure movie "Ang Panday."
