MANILA – Among all his siblings, Robin Padilla shared that BB Gandanghari is the one closest to him at the moment.

This, despite their physical distance because Gandanghari is now based in the United States.

According to Padilla, Gandanghari currently works as an Uber driver in the US, and he couldn’t help but worry about her.

Okay na okay si BB,” he said.

He then recalled how he used to fight for Gandanghari when they were younger.

Hanggang ngayon. Iba na nga lang ngayon dahil babae na siya ngayon,” he said.

As a surprise for Padilla, Gandanghari sent her brother a video message that aired on “Magandang Buhay” on Wednesday.

Gandanghari congratulated Padilla for the success of his movie “Unexpectedly Yours,” calling her brother a '90s icon.

“Congratulations sa isang napakalakas na pelikula. I feel so nostalgic about the ‘Maging Sino Ka Man’ days. Congratulations to you and Sharon. You are the icon of the '90s. I’m really very happy for you,” she said.

Gandanghari then told her brother in jest not to forget to invite her when they hold a movie screening in the US.

“Congratulations to you my dear brother. I love you. More to come. And please when you have your premiere night here, invite me naman,” she said.
