It has been nearly a year since she legally became a woman.

And BB Gandanghari has another reason to love her life in the US after signing a contract with a California-based talent agency.

She made the announcement on Instagram on Thursday, revealing that she has been taken under the wing of The Brogan Agency, which represents film, television, commercial, print, and theater actors.

"Looking forward to new beginnings," she told her fans.

BB Gandanghari is the transgender sibling of Robin Padilla. She legally became a woman in November 2016 after a Los Angeles court approved the gender change.

Gandanghari first came out of the closet during the celebrity edition of the ABS-CBN reality show "Pinoy Big Brother" in 2006.

But in an interview with "Tapatan ni Tunying" in July 2014, she clarified that she is a transgender and not gay.

"When I came out, wala naman akong boyfriend. So parang sabi ko, what makes me gay? Fast forward to three years after, hindi pala ako gay. Transgender pala ako," she said at the time.
