These were the words of Jessy Mendiola after being thrown a surprise birthday party by her closest friends and family.

A clip showing Mendiola, who is now 25, pressing her hands over her mouth to hide her shock made its way online.

She was seen with her boyfriend, Luis Manzano, who posted a sweet birthday message for her on Instagram.

"Happy birthday, my howhow! You are the one that ties everything in my life together. All the good things happening in my life wouldn't feel good if I didn't have you to share them with," he wrote.

The two have been dating for more than a year, and have shared that they are seriously talking about marriage. Manzano has said that he is waiting for the right time to propose.

Hours after the video of her surprise party was uploaded, Mendiola herself took to Instagram to express her gratitude.

"Grateful for the small things, big things, and everything in between," she said.
