Hero Angeles returns in new drama starring Sam Milby, Jericho Rosales

He was last seen in an episode of "Maalaala Mo Kaya" that taught viewers that it's fine to have a transgender mom.

And it looks like the positive response Hero Angeles received for his role as a gay parent netted him a regular part in a new ABS-CBN series to be top-billed by Jericho Rosales and Sam Milby.

The first-ever "Star Circle Quest" winner is one of the cast members for "Love Will Lead You Back" — Angeles' first since 2015's "Nathaniel" — a new drama from the same producers behind the hit afternoon drama "Wildflower."

RSB Drama Unit made the announcement Wednesday afternoon, along with the reveal that seasoned actress Lotlot de Leon will be making her ABS-CBN comeback after more than 3 years.

De Leon was last seen on the Kapamilya network in the hit fantaserye "Juan dela Cruz" back in 2013.

The other cast members include "Die Beautiful" breakout star Christian Bables, Yen Santos and Yam Concepcion.

It will also feature Dionne Monsanto, Romnick Sarmenta, Cris Villanueva, Allan Paule, and Amy Austria.

There's currently no release date yet for the series.

This is Milby and Rosales' first project since the conclusions of "Doble Kara" and "Magpahanggang Wakas," respectively.
