Daniel Padilla was gamely joking around with host-comedian Vice Ganda about his much-talked about kiss with Kathryn Bernardo in "Barcelona: A Love Untold," until he was asked whether it was his first one with his onscreen partner.

"Oo naman, Vice," Padilla, in a playful tone, said after stopping himself midway through his first answer (which can be seen in the video above). "Tumigil ka na."

Padilla and Bernardo's steamy kiss in the romantic drama by Olivia Lamasan is their first onscreen since being paired together five years ago. But, at least from Padilla's reaction to Vice Ganda's question, it remains unclear if they had already kissed off-camera prior.

Meanwhile, Padilla and Bernardo again denied being already a couple.

"Aabangan niyo iyong pag-amin," said Padilla, to which Vice Ganda replied: "So may aaminin nga? Mag-jowa na sila pero hindi pa lang talaga nila aaminin. Abangan lang natin iyong date."

"Barcelona: A Love Untold" made P23 million in its box-office debut last week, making it the most successful Star Cinema film this year. The John Lloyd Cruz-starrer "Just the 3 of Us" is second with a P16 million first day gross.

With the success of the film, Vice Ganda teased the two that they should be partnered with other actors. Bernardo, after admitting that she is the jealous-type, said that she is not willing to have Padilla be paired off with another actress. "Hindi puwede!"

"Barcelona: A Love Untold" is showing in over 320 cinemas nationwide as of this weekend, according to Star Cinema. It recently had its international premiere in Malaysia, where Padilla and Bernardo made a guest appearance.
