MANILA – Cristine Reyes is not closing her doors to working with Vivian Velez again despite their much-publicized fallout several months ago.

In a rant on social media early March, Velez claimed that Reyes humiliated her and that the incident forced her to tender her "immediate irrevocable resignation" from their show “Tubig at Langis.”

Reyes, however, denied that she asked that the screen veteran be thrown out from their shared dressing room while filming an episode.

Speaking at a press conference for the ABS-CBN series last Saturday, Reyes said she is optimistic she and Velez could settle their differences if given a chance to talk.

“Siguro lahat naman nadadaan sa magandang usapan. If given a chance na magkita kami at makapag-usap ulit, okay lang din naman sa akin [na magtrabaho ulit kami together],” she said.

Meanwhile, the actress shared how motherhood has changed her perspective about acting.

“Mas naging iba. Parang lumawak pa 'yung knowledge ko about acting kasi siyempre sa totoong buhay, naging nanay na ako, nagkaroon na ako ng asawa. So nadadala ko rin 'yun sa trabaho ko. Mas malalim na siguro yung pinaghuhugutan ko,” she said.

Now that her series “Tubig at Langis” is down to its last four weeks, Reyes said she is honored to be part of a show which avid viewers have supported from the very beginning.

“Siyempre na-feel ko 'yung blessing sa taas at blessing namin sa lahat. Patay na oras 'yung airtime namin pero [maganda] daw 'yung rating namin. So thankful and blessed kaming lahat,” she said.
