MANILA - American actor Lee O'Brian revealed that his girlfriend, actress-comedienne Pokwang, is now seven weeks pregnant.

In a phone interview with ABS-CBN News on Friday, O'Brian said they only found out that Pokwang is expecting their first baby last Saturday.

According to O'Brian, Pokwang, who is now 44, was advised to take a full bed rest.

"She's doing well. She's resting. She's currently at seventh week and required to do bed rest. I don't know for how many weeks but I know she's withdrawn from all of her shows or commitments," he said.

The "Ang Probinsyano" actress, according to O'Brian, is expected to give birth in February next year.

He added: "If it's going to be a boy, definitely we'll have a first name of William because of my family. That will be a definite first name and we're going to see about the second name, we're not sure. If it's a girl, I can't really say right now. We might name her after her mom, but we don't know."

When asked if they're planning to get married, O'Brian replied: "First is the birth. I think it pretty much confirms it, but it's not immediate because first things first. We just want to make sure that the baby is born, born healthy, born well and everything is alright. You know we've lost one already."
