LIAN, BATANGAS - Around 150 sea turtle hatchlings have been released to the sea in Brgy. San Diego, Lian town in Batangas.

(Here in San Diego, we were by blessed by God to be one of the coastal areas where turtles nest and bury their eggs.)

(We know that they are endangered. That's why we try to protect the sea turtles with this activity, which is raising sea turtles.)

She said that from April to June, there will be more sea turtle hatchlings to be released to the sea. Masipag is inviting travelers to Lian to witness the release of the turtles.

Experts advise onlookers not to touch or obstruct turtle hatchlings that are on their way to the sea. - with a report from Mariz Laksamana, ABS-CBN News; with courtesy from the Lian Tourism Office
