But he was one heroic shot short of saving his team's season.

Lastimosa hit a cold-blooded, off-the-glass 3-pointer to tie the game at 78-all with 2 seconds left in regulation and send the game to overtime.

After Lastimosa hit another three in the extra period to give Adamson an 84-78 lead, UP rallied to go up 89-87, setting up the Soaring Falcons guard for a shot at the game-winner.

Unfortunately, Lastimosa missed the mark and the Fighting Maroons walked away with the win and a berth in the UAAP Season 81 finals.

Lastimosa finished with 17 points, 3 3-pointers and 5 assists.
