The hospital saw an increase in the admission of coronavirus patients with moderate to severe symptoms in the last 2 weeks, following relaxed pandemic lockdowns, said the chief of its adult infectious diseases division, Dr. Rontgene Solante.

San Lazaro Hospital allocated 65 beds for coronavirus patients. Fifty-two patients with the respiratory disease are currently admitted, he said.
