ANC’s Cathy Yang named best news presenter at Asian Television Awards

MANILA—ABS-CBN News Channel (ANC) anchor Cathy Yang was named best news presenter at the 24th Asian Television Awards in Manila on Friday.

As host of business news program "Market Edge," Yang beat countryman Cito Beltran ("Agenda," Cignal TV Inc.) and foreign journalists from China, India, Japan and Taiwan to win the award for the second time

She won the award three times during her stint at Bloomberg TV Asia-Pacific.

This latest award is the first Yang won for the Kapamilya network and for work done in the Philippines.
