Hunter Syndrome is a rare, inherited disease common in boys, who lack the enzyme that breaks down complex sugar, which accumulate in different organs. UP Manila Institute of Human Genetics director Dr. Mary Anne Chiong explains on "Salamat Dok" how this is passed down to the child from the mother. She also discusses how Hunter Syndrome can be treated if detected early.
