MANILA -- Singer-songwriter Ogie Alcasid made a rare appearance on “ASAP” on Sunday as the variety show paid tribute to composer Ryan Cayabyab.

For his number, Alcasid performed “Iduyan Mo,” which was originally sung by OPM icon Basil Valdez. The song was used as the theme song of the 1980s movie “Aguila.”

Towards the latter part of the song, Alcasid was joined by Kapamilya singers Jed Madela, Erik Santos and Angeline Quinto.
