MANILA -- Lockdown restrictions on foreign travel for Filipinos are unchanged so far, 2 days into a looser coronavirus quarantine that will pave the way for commercial aviation, the Bureau of Immigration said Tuesday.

The country's pandemic response task force has yet to recommend changes on who can leave the country. This means only the following can travel abroad, said Immigration National Operations Center acting chief Melvin Mabulac:

- Filipinos who are permanent residents abroad and are joining their family there;
- migrant workers who have overseas employment certificates; and - foreigners.
