MANILA -- Boy Abunda did not take offense when he found out that several memes of him that are currently circulating online.

These memes show Abunda playing basketball like a pro.

During his opening spiel for the Wednesday episode of “Tonight with Boy Abunda,” the TV host pretended to be playing ball before he introduced himself as "LeBoy James."

“Sa lahat ng mga gumagawa ng memes, maraming maraming salamat. Magandang pampagising, magandang pang pa-good vibes,” he said while laughing at himself.

Abunda said he is grateful that viewers are “paying attention to us.”

Several memes surfaced online after Abunda invited Grae Fernandez to guest on his show where the young actor taught him the basics of playing basketball.

When Fernandez showed him how to dribble and shoot, Abunda gamely showed off his newly acquired skills.
