MANILA – The anticipated showdown between the Akari Chargers and the Creamline Cool Smashers for the 2024 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Reinforced Conference crown has been moved to Wednesday, September 4, due to the inclement weather brought by tropical storm Enteng.

The bronze medal match between PLDT and Cignal will also take place the same day, likely earlier than the championship match.

The venue for the Wednesday matches will be PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.

The matches were originally scheduled for Monday, September 2, at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

Heavy rains due to the tropical storm have caused flooding in parts of Metro Manila.

Wind signal no. 1 has been hoisted over Metro Manila by state weather bureau PAGASA.
