MANILA -- Each Filipino gold medalist in the 2024 Paris Olympics will be rewarded by Megaworld Corporation with fully-furnished condominium units in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

The property giant Thursday announced the incentive worth P24-million situated in the company's 50-hectare McKinley Hill township which will be waiting for those who will come on top in France.

"This 2024, we are celebrating our 100th year of participating in the Olympic Games, and what a way to celebrate this milestone than by recognizing the superb competitive spirit of our newest Olympic gold medalist and welcoming them to McKinley Hill," said Megaworld president Lourdes T. Gutierrez-Alfonso in a statement.

"As one of the most celebrated addresses in Fort Bonifacio, McKinley Hill is home to several world-class athletes, including members of the Philippine national teams for basketball and football. This makes it a perfect home for Filipino champions who live a life of passion and excellence through and through," he went on.

The closest to that gold medal feat right now is Philippines' star gymnast Carlos Yulo, who recently entered the finals of the vault and floor exercise following his stellar performance in the qualification round.

Yulo concluded his all-around final with a 12th-place finish on Thursday early morning.

Hergie Bacyadan and Eumir Marcial have already bid farewell to their Paris medal aspirations, while Carlo Paalam, Nesthy Petecio, and Aira Villegas are still in contention in men's and women's boxing.

Fencer Sam Catantan concluded her journey at round of 32 in women's individual foil, while Kiyomi Watanabe also bowed out of the 63kg event in women's judo.

Swimmers Kayla Sanchez and Joanie Delgaco are now out of medal contention, same as gymnasts Aleah Finnegan, Emma Malabuyo, and Levi Ruivivar.

Pole vault star EJ Obiena, Jarod Hatch of swimming, athletics' John Cabang and Lauren Hoffman,  golfers Bianca Pagdanganan and Dottie Ardina, weightlifters John Ceniza, Elreen Ando, and Vanessa Sarno are still pretty much in the mix as their events have not yet started.
