Esports: Harame Bro, Blacklist's Doujin, secure EWC slots MANILA - PlayersUnknown Battlegrounds squad Harame Bro and Blacklist International's Tekken prodigy Andreij "Doujin" Albar have nabbed slots to the Esports World Cup held in Saudi Arabia.

Harame Bro first secured their slot after winning the PUBG Mobile Challengers League-Southeast Asia (PMCL SEA) Summer Split, while Doujin secured his own opportunity during the CEO 2024 held in Daytona Beach, Florida.

"Maraming napagdaanan yung team kasi nakastay kami sa kani-kaniyang bahay, and sa isang place and sakin personally nagkakaroon ng problem about internet and kuryente so kinailangan ko pang pumunta sa loob para malaro nang maayos ang tournament," Harame Bro's Jholo "FEDERALES" Leon told ABS-CBN News.

Doujin is the second Pinoy Tekken player to secure a CEO 2024 slot after Alexandre "AK" Laverez secured his in Dreamhack, held in Dallas, Texas. While Doujin placed 3rd, he got the last ride ticket to EWC as CEO 2024 finalist Takaba Keisuke already secured his slot through DreamHack.

Aside from Harame Bro, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang teams Liquid ECHO and Falcons AP Bren, and Dota 2 team Blacklist Rivalry along with all-female team  Smart Omega Empress will also participate in the multi-sport event.
