BINI Mikha says volleyball is her 'happy pill'

MANILA – Mikha Lim of nation's girl group BINI revealed that playing volleyball is her "happy pill" and one of her "stress relievers."

Despite her busy schedule, Mikha participated in the Star Magic All Star Games on Sunday at the Big Dome and even won the Best Setter citation.

"Siyempre, nakakapagod isipin. Pero volleyball has always been my happy pill, so kahit nakakapagod, it's like a stress reliever for me," Mikha told ABS-CBN News.

"So kahit nakakapagod, go lang nang go and laban pa rin," the 20-year-old sensation went on.

The main rapper of the OPM group also revealed her volleyball idolnone other than Alas Pilipinas captain Jia de Guzman.

"Kasi I've seen a lot of her videos on TikTok, and lagi kong nakikita ang galing niya mag-dropball at mag-set," said Mikha.

She might not have watched the games of the national team due to jampacked schedule, but Mikha expressed her full support for the De Guzman-led squad.

Mikha even saw videos of Alas players dancing to the group's hit song "Pantropiko" after winning bronze in the AVC Challenge Cupto which she expressed gratitude.

"Nung nanalo sila, I wasn't able to watch kasi grabe 'yung schedule namin minsan and I'm so sorry. Pero nakita ko they were dancing one of our songs, so I'm very grateful for their support," said Mikha. "They also have my support, so laban Pilipinas!" 

BINI performed "Karera" and "Pantropiko" during the halftime of the main event in the Star Magic Games.

The group announced Tuesday that it has just reached 1 million followers on social media platform Instagram.
