Gilas Pilipinas Women will advance to the main draw of the FIBA 3x3 after dominating Kazakhstan, 21-12, in their qualifying clash on Thursday in Singapore.

Camille Clarin racked up baskets for a game-high nine points, while Day 1 heroes Mikka Cacho, Kaye Pingol, and Jhazmin Joson delivered four markers each for the cause.

It was all Philippines in the match against Kazakhs after a 5-1 fine start with Cacho opening up the scoring off a Clarin dime.

Their rivals closed in at 7-5, but Joson was quick to shut the door with a long bomb, and Clarin followed it with a conversion coming from a strong drive to the hoop.

Clarin again forced her way to the basket as the Filipinas doubled the scoring output of the Kazakhs, 14-7.

Clarin finished the job before the clock expired after nailing a basket from beyond the arc. 

After winning in Group B with a clean 3-0 slate, Gilas Women will proceed to Pool C where they will join Mongolia and Malaysia.
