He stopped short of answering a question about why he has yet to court fellow collegiate athlete Bea de Leon, despite openly admitting that he has long harbored a crush on her.

And while Ateneo Blue Eagles star Thirdy Ravena might just keep the answer to that to himself, one thing's pretty clear: he misses hanging out and talking with De Leon.

He admitted it during his interview on "Tonight with Boy Abunda," sharing that it has been "weeks" since they last saw each other. Prior to that lull, "everyday po kasi kami nagkikita," he explained.

The two young sports personalities have long been romantically linked with one another, with sweet birthday greetings fanning the flames. Though as Ravena explained, they are just friends for now.

"No," he replied to a question about if they are a couple. "We just really enjoy each other's company kasi madali pong maka-relate. We're batchmates. We both are student athletes."

Pressed further about his relationship with De Leon during the talk show's "Fast Talk" segment," he said that he loves her "as a friend."
