CAPAS, Tarlac—Food at its best ang hatid ng New Clark City sa mga lokal at dayong atleta na kalahok sa 30th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games.

"Athletes can't leave the complex so we try make sure that they can eat 24 hours a day. They have enough food and variety throughout and we wanna make sure they are comfortable," ani executive chef Bruce Lim.

Inihapag ang 24/7 na buffet na swak sa panlasa ng Western at Asian culture sa designated dining hall ng Athletes Village.

"We want to guarantee safe, good and nutritious and delicious food," ani chef Bong Sagmit.

Ang kagandahan ng catering, lahat mula sa appetizers, desserts, soups at main courses, halal-certified rin.

"Actually ang halal na ito napakahalaga para sa mga athlete natin, mga delegate galing Malaysia, Indonesia Singapore at saka Brunei," ani catering coordinator Datu Shaiffudin Kiram.

May food safety team din na siyang nangangasiwa sa kalinisan at sustansiya ng lahat pagkain.

Impressed naman ang ilang bisita hindi lang sa pagkain kundi maging sa magandang tanawin.

"We were surprised and happy in the Athletes Village because the building is in the mountain so we can get the fresh air... The food is very enough," ani Sim Chantha, delegate mula Cambodia.
