MANILA, Philippines – For the first time ever, the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Press Corps is handing out a "Game of the Season" honor during the 24th staging of its Annual Awards Night on Thursday at the Gloria Maris restaurant inside the Gateway Mall in Cubao.

The "Manila Clasico" between Barangay Ginebra and Star in the 2017 PBA Governors' Cup was chosen as the season's most memorable and best played game by the group that regularly covers the PBA beat.
