MANILA, Philippines – The Bali Pure Water Defenders and the Bureau of Customs Transformers collide one more time on Wednesday to contest the second championship berth in the V-League Season 13 Reinforced Conference at the Philsports Arena.

The Transformers finally earned a breakthrough victory over the Water Defenders on Monday, winning in four sets 25-19, 15-25, 25-20, 25-17, to force a decider in their best-of-three semifinals series.

Bali Pure entered Game 2 brimming with confidence, having already beaten Customs twice via straight-sets romps.

However, the Transformers refused to give up, and got back at the Water Defenders with Alyssa Valdez scoring 27 points.

It was Kanjana Kuthaisong who took the game's top honors, however, as the Thai ace pumped in 19 hits and made a good account of herself defensively with eight excellent receptions.

The Water Defenders are expected to come up with the necessary adjustments in the deciding game. Import Katherine Morrell had 19 points in Game 2, while Dzi Gervacio added 16. However, Amy Ahomiro only had five points, and the rest failed to step up.

Valdez and Kuthaisong are expected to match, if not top their previous performances, as are Morrell and fellow import Kaylee Manns.

Already waiting in the Finals are the Pocari Sweat Lady Warriors, who swept the University of Santo Tomas Tigresses in their own semifinals series.

Game 1 of the Finals will be held on Saturday, also at the Philsports Arena.
