Fil-Am forward Jamie Malonzo was unstoppable in his final game for the Green and White. The swingman exploded for 34 points — the highest scoring output in the UAAP this year — along with 12 rebounds. He went 7 of 12 from behind the arc and thrilled the crowd with his athleticism once more.

La Salle finished the UAAP Season 82 men's basketball tournament with an even 7-7 record. Adamson, meanwhile, settled for a 4-10 slate for sixth place, its worst finish in the Franz Pumaren era.

It was a wire-to-wire win for La Salle, as Malonzo opened the game with a slam dunk to set the tone for the Green Archers. They posted a 25-12 advantage after the first quarter, and cruised to victory.
