Creamline played sharp and aggressive and the BanKo Perlas Spikers just didn’t know what hit them.

Alyssa Valdez and the Cool Smashers dominated the Perlas Spikers for a 26-24, 25-13, 25-21 win in the Premier Volleyball League Season 2 Collegiate Conference at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan on Wednesday.

What was expected to be a shootout between two of the top title contenders turned out to be a one-sided affair with Creamline winning its fifth straight to tie its victim and Ateneo-Motolite at the top spot with 5-1 win-loss record.

Valdez dropped 20 points on 16 kills, 3 aces and a kill block for the Cool Smashers, who snapped the erstwhile unbeaten Perlas Spikers’ five-game winning streak.
