La Salle was in control for most of the way before buckets from Akiko Tomita and Jolina Go made it a four-point game, 44-48, early in the fourth quarter. Ateneo would com eas close as three-points, 52-55, off a three-pointer by Go with still 3:50 left to play.

UE led by double-digits in the third quarter, 44-31, before Adamson roared back behind Kaye Pingol and even led 46-43. But the Lady Warriors ended the period on a strong note, and headed into the fourth quarter with a 51-47 advantage.
