MANILA -- Senator and boxing champion Manny Pacquiao answered Floyd Mayweather's challenge for a rematch with what appeared to be a warning that his brash American arch-rival's unbeaten streak was about to end.

"50-1. #NoExcuses," Pacquiao said in a post on his Instagram account, which has been viewed nearly 750 times as of 7 a.m. Sunday, 9 hours after it was posted.

Two hours before Pacquiao's post, Mayweather said he was "coming back" to take on the Filipino fighter-turned-lawmaker and that he wanted "another 9 figure payday."

The 2 Instagram posts appeared to be of the same party where the fighters playfully taunted each other but taken with using different cameras.

The 39-year-old beat Argentinian Lucas Matthysse in Kuala Lumpur last July to win the WBA Welterweight title.

Mayweather last fought Connor McGregor in August last year, knocking out the MMA star in his boxing debut.
