Olympic table tennis player Ian Lariba was admitted to the hospital again after suffering a relapse recently.

Lariba, who has been battling leukemia since last year, was admitted to St. Luke's Bonifacio Global City on August 17, according to a La Salle Facebook page.

She completed a 5-day chemotherapy protocol and had her brain and spine MRI last August 23. Lariba is set to undergo lymphocyte infusion and will have to stay in the hospital for 3 weeks.
Lariba, a multi-titled student-athlete at La Salle, participated in the Rio Olympics in 2016.
