MANILA (UPDATE)—Andray Blatche will lead the Philippines when it competes in the 2019 FIBA World Cup that starts on Saturday, August 31, in China.

Blatche spearheads the 12-man line-up that also includes veterans June Mar Fajardo, Gabe Norwood, Japeth Aguilar and Paul Lee, all of whom also suited up for the Philippines in the 2014 World Cup.

Also making it to the final roster is Kiefer Ravena, who finally made his highly anticipated return to the court on Sunday in a tune-up game with the Adelaide 36ers at Meralco Gym.

The full roster is as follows:

"These are the 12 gallant men who will fight for flag and country in the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 in China but they would not have gotten this opportunity if it were not for the sacrifices of all the players, coaches, and staff that helped along the way throughout the FIBA Asian Qualifiers," said Al Panlilio, president of the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas, the sport's national governing body.

"This is your Gilas Pilipinas, and they'll do their best to represent the 100 million Filipinos and promote the Philippine brand of basketball on the world stage," he added in a statement.
