Filipino gymnast Carlos Yulo placed fourth in the finals of the men's vault competition in the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta on Friday.

Yulo's 13.662 score failed to land the 18-year-old a spot on the podium.

Chinese-Taipei, Korea and Indonesia took home the gold, silver and bronze medals, respectively.

The result came some 24 hours after he placed seventh in the final of the floor exercise competition on Thursday.
