The 26-year-old Garcia, who is in his third PBA team in four years in the league, earned praise from coach Jason Webb, who said that the former UAAP MVP proved his worth in Sunday's game.

For Star import Marqus Blakely, Garcia's performance was all the more impressive because he took up the challenge of defending the explosive Romeo.

The challenge for Garcia now is to play at a high level consistently, according to Star veteran Marc Pingris.
