The Brooklyn Nets have bolstered their roster by signing veteran guard Jamal Crawford, The Athletic's Shams Charania reported.

Crawford, a three-time Sixth Man of the Year winner, has not played in the NBA since the 2018-19 season, when he averaged 7.9 points and 3.6 assists per game for the Phoenix Suns.

He joins a Brooklyn squad that is missing several players ahead of the restart of the NBA season due to the novel coronavirus. DeAndre Jordan, Spencer Dinwiddie, Taurean Prince, and Wilson Chandler have all opted out of the resumption of the season.

Crawford has averaged 14.6 points and 3.6 assists per game for his NBA career, having played for eight teams in 19 seasons.
