MANILA, Philippines – Day 2 of Kobe Bryant's "Mamba Mentality" tour in Manila kicked off bright and early on Sunday morning, when the former Los Angeles Lakers superstar trained 24 young players at the Kerry Sports Hall.

The 24 players were selected from a pool of 300, who went through the Kobe Academy Pre-Camp from June 22 to 24.

Last Sunday, they were trained by Bryant himself, who led strength and conditioning drills inspired by his own workouts. The training session began at 4 a.m., a nod to Bryant's habit of working out early in the morning before team practice.

Bryant then went on to visit the Nike Park Fort, where he held a closed-door session with die-hard fans, sharing more information on what the "Mamba Mentality" is, his future plans, and his obsession with product design.

Bryant also launched a limited edition Kobe 11 Elite Low that will be exclusively available in the Philippines and China. The 24 players – called the Mamba Disciples – were the first to be given a pair.

This was Bryant's seventh visit to Manila.
