MANILA, Philippines – Skidding teams AMA Online Education and Batangas-Emilio Aguinaldo College (EAC) will try to end their winless starts when they take on each other in the 2018 PBA D-League Foundation Cup on Monday afternoon at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

Not even the return of big man Andre Paras could prevent the Titans from losing their fourth consecutive game, as they bowed to Centro Escolar University (CEU), 96-85, in his first game of the conference.

Paras vows to do more against Batangas-EAC in their 1 p.m. showdown.

“I’ll be more active,” he said. “In our next game, I’ll try being more aggressive in rebounds. If some players are off, I will try my best to contribute.”

Also looking for a better performance is Fil-Canadian rookie Owen Graham.

The Generals, for their part, are looking to snap a two-game losing streak, the most recent of which is a 78-57 rout at the hands of Che’Lu Bar&Grill last week.

Coach Oliver Bunyi is expecting more from his players, especially as they are trying to make a run at the playoffs.

“I’m sure they already know what to do in the next games, after our string of losses,” he said.

Meanwhile, Marinerong Pilipino-TIP and CEU both aim for better positioning at the halfway point of the conference when they face off at 3 p.m.

Tied at the middle of the pack with their identical 2-2 win-loss records, both the Engineers and the Scorpions are looking to force their way into the top half of the league standings.
