The Australian men's and women's teams dominated their respective divisions in the FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup, held in Changsha, China over the past week.

Over 40 teams – 22 in the men's division and 18 in the women's – competed in the fourth edition of the tournament, which concluded on Sunday evening.

The Australian men's team secured a second consecutive gold by going unbeaten in the competition. They trounced Mongolia, 21-9, in the gold medal game in what was a rematch of last year's final.

Tim Coenraad led the Boomers with 8 points, including the game-winning bucket.
