MANILA, Philippines -- ABS-CBN Sports will provide esports fans with live coverage of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League- Philippines (MPL-PH) Season 5 starting Friday, May 1, on S+A.

Livestreaming will be available on sports.abs-cbn.com, the ABS-CBN Sports Facebook, ABS-CBN Sports YouTube, and TFC.TV.

MPL-PH is the premier mobile esports tournament in the country, where the top 10 local Mobile Legends: Bang Bang teams compete for six weeks. At stake is the top prize of $25,000, and the right to represent the country in the international scene.

S+A will air Week 4 to Week 6 of the tournament organized by Moonton, the developer of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, live every Fridays to Sundays, starting on May 1 at 6:30 p.m.

It will also air the grand finals on May 29 to 31 at the same timeslot.

Competing to become national champions this season are pro teams such as Execration, Geek Fam, Bren Esports, BSB, ULVL, Blacklist International, SGD Omega, STI Olympians, last season's runner-ups ONIC PH, and the reigning champions Sunsparks.

The top two teams at the end of the season will earn slots to the M1 World Championship 2020, where they will play against the world's best.

S+A will bring more esports action with the telecast of the recent ONE esports DOTA 2 World Pro Invitational Singapore on May 20 to 24 at 6:30 p.m., where Vici Gaming took the grand prize against Evil Geniuses in the finals.
