GlobalPort welcomes back high-scoring guard Terrence Romeo when it takes on Star in the PBA Commissioner's Cup at Mindanao Civic Center Gym in Tubod, Lanao del Norte, on Saturday.

Romeo missed GlobalPort's first game — a loss to Alaska — due to health reasons that weren't made public by the team.

The development was first reported on Spin.ph.

With Romeo back in the fray, the backcourt duel between the Philippine Cup leading scorer and Star's prolific playmaker Paul Lee will be something worth looking out for.

In beating Phoenix 101-82 in its 1st game, Star picked up where it left off in the previous conference, shooting lights out and playing excellent defense.

Star made 45% of its 3-pointers (9 of 20), compared to Phoenix's paltry 8% (2 of 25).

Lee struggled against Phoenix, but Mark Barroca (17 points) and Allein Maliksi (16) sufficiently filled the veteran Gilas guard's shoes.

Star import Tony Mitchell scored 24 points on an efficient shooting night (9 of 12).
