MANILA - PBA Commissioner Willie Marcial is a fan of Beau Belga's segment on "The Score" -- "Extra Rice."

The segment sees Belga break bread with his fellow basketball players, getting them to open up about their careers and their lives while they share a meal. Among his guests are former MVP James Yap, Gabe Norwood, and Mark Barroca.

In an interview with Mico Halili on "The Score," Marcial said he was impressed with the burly big man's hosting skills.

"Napanood ko kung paano siya mag-host, kung paano mga questions niya. Magaling," Marcial said in the wide-ranging interview.

So impressed was Marcial that he jokingly advised Belga to stick with hosting instead of playing basketball.

"Kaya Beau, kung nanonood ka, ang advice ko sa'yo, pare, mag-host ka na lang. Ganyan kita kamahal. 'Yan ang advice ko Beau ha," he said in jest.

Marcial is open to guesting on "Extra Rice," and indeed he is already anticipating all the jokes that he can make at Belga's expense.

"Papayag ako," he said gamely. "Lalabas ko lahat ng nalalaman ko kay Beau Belga."

"Bahala siya kung gusto niya ako imbitahin o hindi, basta ako, okaya ko," Marcial guaranteed.
