MANILA – Versatile Adamson forward Adam Doria, and San Beda guard Tony Ynot have been chosen to replace the injured Joel Cagulangan and Clint Escamis in the 2019 Chooks-to-Go SM NBTC All-Star Game.

Cagulangan and Escamis were ranked second and eighth, respectively, in the final 2019 NBTC 24, but will be unable to see action in the week-long showcase of the most promising young talent in the country due to injury.

NCAA Juniors MVP Cagulangan of La Salle Green Hills was named captain of Team Heart, but is out with a right ankle injury. However, he will still be on the sidelines in the All-Star Game slated for March 24 at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Alongside Doria in Team Heart will be NU’s Carl Tamayo, LSGH's Inand Fornilos and Joshua David, Hope Christian’s Harvey Pagsanjan, Arellano’s Aaron Fermin, Mapua’s Paolo Hernandez and Dan Arches, University of Visayas’ Joshua Yerro, Lyceum’s Mac Guadana, Chiang Kai Shek’s Rafael Go, and Adamson teammate Joem Sabandal.
