Calvin Abueva finished with 22 points and 14 rebounds, and Phoenix used a scorching start to beat Blackwater 114-95 in the PBA Philippine Cup at Ynares Center in Antipolo on Friday.

The Fuel Masters (4-0) are still the only undefeated team in the tournament, as they sent Blackwater to its third loss in four games.

Phoenix took advantage of a cold spell by Blackwater in the first quarter to race to a 35-11 lead, as the Elite were limited to just one field goal in a 5-minute stretch.

Coach Louie Alas and his crew proceeded to drop 66 points in the first half, a torrid offensive performance Blackwater couldn't recover from.

Phoenix led by as many as 37 points in the wire-to-wire win.

Matthew Wright added 19 points and a game-high 7 assists, RJ Jazul contributed 11 points and 3 3-pointers for Phoenix, which is off to its best start to a conference in franchise history.

Abu Tratter tallied 24 points and 8 rebounds to lead Blackwater, which shot just 37% from the floor (33-of-88 field-goal attempts) as Phoenix came away with a 53% clip (42-of-79 FGAs).
