ABS-CBN Sports reported that Colegio de San Juan de Letran will name Bonnie Tan as the new head coach of the Knights, after deciding not to renew the contract of Jeff Napa.

Tan had served as Letran's team manager last year. He apparently tried to recruit Napa as a consultant, but was turned down due to Napa's differences with the school administration.

Tan, who coached Lyceum of the Philippines University from 2003 to 2014, takes over a promising Letran team that features Rookie of the Year Larry Muyang, as well as Jeo Ambohot, Christian Fajarito, and Bonbon Batiller. The Knights made the Final 4 last year, losing to Lyceum.
