San Miguel Beer has already began their 2019 training but there is still no sign of their newly acquired player Terrence Romeo.
According to ABS-CBN Sports, the high-scoring guard was supposed to show up on Wednesday at the Acropolis Gym.
The three-time PBA scoring champion was acquired by the Beermen from Talk 'N Text in exchange for Brian Heruela, David Semerad, and a first-round pick.
San Miguel coach Leo Austria said Romeo will show up on Thursday.
“Tomorrow 'yung schedule niya. Ever since naman na nagkaroon ng approval nung trade niya, January 3 he will be here with us,” said Austria.
Also absent on Wednesday's training is Christian Standhardinger.
“We don’t have Christian yet because at the start, nagpa-schedule siya na January 5 ang arrival niya (from abroad),” said Austria.
San Miguel will defend the Philippine Cup title in the coming PBA 44th season.
